MOSCOW |
| Arrive in Moscow and transfer to the ship. The balance
of the day is free to relax or to begin discovering this exciting city.

MOSCOW |
| After breakfast, visit Russia's beautiful capital city, founded in 1147,
which includes the Red Square, the GUM Department Store, St. Basil Cathedral, Tverskaya,
Sparrow Hill and Lubyanka Square (KGB building. You will also visit the Tretyakov Art Museum.
This afternoon, enjoy lunch on a day boat as you cruise the Moscow River.
Tonight, you can enjoy an optional visit to the Moscow Circus.

MOSCOW |
| This morning tour the Kremlin and the Armory Museum. Afternoon
is free or enjoy an optional tour of the Pushkin Museum or the Novodevichy
Monastery

UGLICH |
| The town of Uglich dates from the 10th century. In the
16th century, Ivan the Terrible used Uglich as a base for attacks against
the Tatars. Our tour this morning includes Transfiguration Cathedral and
the Church of Dimitry on the Blood. Uglich is also the site of an AMAWATERWAYS exclusive
shore excursion. You'll visit the home of a local Russian family, learning about
everyday life in Uglich, as you enjoy a home cooked meal and sample
Russian hospitality first hand.

| Day 6 : |
YEROSLAVL |
| About a thousand years ago in 1010 Rostov Prince Yaroslav
(later Yaroslav the Wise) founded a fortress here in order to strengthen
his territory and to secure safety of the water ways. He named his
fortress after himself. In the 17th century the city saw its heydays and
rivaled Moscow in importance and beauty. Our city tour includes Transfiguration
Monastery and the Yaroslavl Museum of Russian Art, the former residence of the
governor of Yaroslavl.

| Day 7 : |
GORITSY |
| Today we stop at the small, but history ladden town of
Goritsy. We will viist the spectacular Monastery of St. Cyril on the White
Lake, situated on a hill from where a grandios view presents the surrounding
area. We will also visit the Museum of icons.Return to ship to sail for Kizhi.

KIZHI |
| The village and churches of Kizhi were first mentioned
in chronicles four hundred years ago. In the 16th century, Kizhi was the
administrative centre of the large Zaonezhye region, with numerous settlements
on islands and on the mainland.Kizhi Pogost is enlisted in the UNESCO's
World Heritage. During our tour we visit the twenty two - domed Church
of the Transfiguration and built nearby in 1764 the nine-domed Church of
the Intercession. We will also visit Russia's oldest, still extant wooden
Church of St. Lazarus of Murom, which stands on the tiny islet of Mooch
and dates back to the 14th century.

SVIRSTROY |
| Svistroy is 100 miles from St.Petersburg, with only a population of 1000. Enjoy some free time
to stroll through this unspoiled Russian village and browse through the irresistable handmade trinkets. This is the best
place to do souvenir shopping before reaching St.Petersburg.

ST. PETERSBURG |
| One of Russia's former capitals, this city rivals Paris or Venice for its romantic image.
Dating from the beginning of the 18th-century it was built to the exact specifications ordered by Peter the Great.
The city is home to many museums, galleries, palaces, impressive squares and streets. Your sightseeing
tour of this beautiful city shows you Nevsky Prospect, Palace Square, St. Isaacs Cathedral and the cruiser
Aurora. After lunch in a local restaurant in St. Petersburg, tour the Hermitage museum, the former Palace of the
Czars, which houses the royal art collection with over three million works of art. It is one of the
largest and most impressive art museums in the world. Tonight, join your fellow passengers for
an optional folkloric show.

ST. PETERSBURG |
| This morning, stroll along one of the many picturesque canals or
join the optional excursion to Pushkin and visit the Palace of Catherine the Great.
In your free time absorb the atmosphere of St. Petersburg’s vibrant cultural life.
This evening, you are our guest at a Ballet performance at the Hermitage Theatre,
the former private theatre of the Czars.

ST. PETERSBURG |
| Today, tour St. Petersburg's famous and spectacular Imperial Estate - Peterhof Palace.
Nestled on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, the palace was built by Peter the Great initially as
a resting place en route to the Imperial naval base. But the Czar was quick to recognize the
attractiveness of the area and masterminded a vast estate intended to rival the famous gardens
of Versailles. You will enjoy a hydrofoil journey either to or from the Palace. After lunch,
enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. (B,L,D) |
